We discovered an old photographic picture, taken by dr. Finch, around 1899. On the back of it is written:”Today I carved the shape of an eye in the tree just behind the stables. I wonder if this could ever become a popular timewaster!”
And so it did, dr. Finch!!! Today, the second of june, 2009, we discovered a whole bunch of trees with eyeshapes carved in them. So, if you ever come across some trees with similar carvings, you now know who started it!!
